How to Get to Verges from Girona (Recommended Route)
Leave Girona on the N-IIA and follow it for about 9.5 km towards Figueres. After passing Medinyà, turn right onto the GI-633 road and continue for 16 km until you reach Verges.
Alternative Route from Girona (via Bordils)
Leave Girona on the N-IIA. At the first roundabout, turn right onto Carrer Josep Flores (you’ll see a gas station on your left).
At the end of the street, turn right onto Pont de l’Aigua. After the bridge, turn left onto the C-255 road. Merge onto the C-66 and follow the signs for La Bisbal d’Empordà.
Turn onto the GIV-642 towards Torroella de Montgrí. When you reach Parlavà, turn left onto the GI-252 and follow it until you arrive in Verges.
How to Get from Figueres to Verges
Leave Figueres on the N-IIA and follow it for 4 km towards Girona. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto the C-31 towards La Bisbal d’Empordà. Continue on this road until you reach Verges.
How to Get to Verges from Barcelona by Car
Take the AP-7 motorway north towards France and take exit 6 (Girona Nord). After the bridge, turn right towards Girona–Figueres and immediately keep left towards Figueres.
Follow the N-IIA for about 6 km, always following signs for Figueres. After passing Medinyà, turn right onto the GI-633 road and continue for 16 km until you arrive in Verges.
Driving from France
After crossing the border, follow the E-15 / AP-7 motorway until you reach exit 6 (Girona Nord). After the bridge, turn right towards Girona–Figueres and immediately keep left towards Figueres.
